The Honda Odyssey is back and better than ever. The new debut will be at the North American International Auto Show in early January, and this fifth-generation minivan has a complete redesign. You’ll find new powertrain technology, styling, and more. We can’t wait to see the 2018 Honda Odyssey in action.
According to Honda, the 2018 Odyssey debut will showcase advanced connectivity thanks to software upgrades, new entertainment features, and the latest in safety. As a fun way to tease the new model, Honda released children’s sketches of the model. These teaser scribbles were done by kids of the Ohio-based development team; however, some of the futuristic crayon designs aren’t exactly accurate.
“We wanted to have a bit of fun by sharing some of the drawings from children of the Odyssey team members, since they were inspirational in shaping the family-friendly direction of the all-new Odyssey,” said Chad Harrison, chief engineer at Honda R&D America and the development leader of the new Odyssey.
The Honda Odyssey is currently in its fifth generation, and it has since become the most popular minivan in the US. The most popular demographic is 35-year-old buyers with children, though the versatile styling and innovative features are great for virtually anyone.
