Honda has been dangling news and information on the new Civic Si in front of the faces of enthusiasts for months. Honda promised to bring the performance-focused Civic variant to New York and release specs, but until then, industry insiders and fans alike hadn’t had the chance to get a good look at the new Civic Si. However, on April 6th, the brand followed through on hints that it would be releasing a teaser for the car and posted a video on its YouTube channel.
The teaser revealed that the Civic Si will be available as both a coupe and a sedan. These models will also have a turbocharged inline-4 that puts out 205 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The teaser goes on to brag about the Civic Si’s improved lateral grip, lightweight but rigid body construction, adaptive steering, larger brakes, and more. All of this information flashes across the screen while the Honda Civic Si itself (as a coupe model) tears up a professional racing track.
With features ranging from a Sport driving mode for a more power-boosted ride, front bucket seats, more aerodynamic design elements, and more, the new Civic Si is sure to be a hit. Come talk to us at Basney Honda if you’re interested in knowing more.
