Honda revealed the first photos of its all-new crossover, the Honda HR-V at New York Auto Show last week. The HR-V is small crossover based on the Honda Fit’s chassis and is Honda’s way to enter the small crossover market here in America.
Jeff Conrad, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Honda automobile division for Honda America said, “both Fit and HR-V demonstrate how great things can come in small packages, and no one does this better than Honda. Together these models also represent Honda’s step-by step expansion of our production in the region, which has been key to our success in America for more than 30 years.”
While a model like the Honda HR-V is already sold overseas, the Honda Vezel, people have been waiting a long time for a Honda small crossover to enter the market. They will have to wait a bit longer since the HR-V isn’t expected to hit the U.S. market until this winter, maybe as early as December!
Be sure to stop by Basney Honda to check out this great new crossover once it’s available!
